Let the beauty of what you love be what you do. ~ Rumi
I am a practicing psychotherapist and counselor with over 25 years of experience. I work with both adolescents and adults in my private practice. I also have experience in agency and education settings.
I specialize in working with people in recovery who want to improve their relationships. This includes healing trauma, anxiety, and codependency.
One of the most vital elements of mental health is practicing good nutrition. I advocate for treating the whole person rather than just isolated symptoms.
I have a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin and my Masters in Counseling from Texas State University in San Marcos.
My husband Jim and I have two adult daughters, Lilly and Shiloh. Jim and I have lived in Wimberley, Texas for over 30 years. I love being surrounded by animals, doing yoga, and tending to my garden. My family and I are involved in the community and have friends all over the Hill Country. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
